Kaléidoscopes

I’ve been asked to imagine a visual for the Kaléidoscopes Festival taking place in downtown Quebec last december. Carte blanche like they say, which means I can do whatever I want, as long as it’s socially respectful and accepted. This festival puts together folklore and all sort of musical genre and inspirations. The word FOLKLORE really rang a bell in my head ans was the starting point of the reflection around the concept. I wanted to make a clin d’oeil to the Chasse Galerie, a very popular french canadian legend. I traded the canoes for the main fish species populating our streams and put party people riding them.
